Bill 21 prohibits government employees in a position of authority, including teachers in public schools, from wearing religious symbols at work. The bill was passed into law June 16, 2019. Opponents have
announced they will challenge the law in court. The EFC considers Bill 21 to be a violation of religious freedom.
