Pray

Prayer is essential to any effective action. Each week at TheEFC.ca/TakeAction we rotate through a prayer request from each of these five areas:

Sanctity of Life
Care for the Vulnerable
Church and Mission
Family and Community
Religious Freedom.

We also list an EFC affiliate group to pray for.

This Week’s Prayer Prompts  

This week's prayer prompt is about religious freedom. Pray for boldness, strength and help for those being persecuted. Pray for repentance and redemption of the persecutors, for laws that protect religious freedom to be passed and upheld. and for Christians to care and act on behalf of the persecuted. Pray also for Canadian government officials to take action on behalf of those persecuted around the world.
    
Each week we also list an EFC affiliate organization to pray for. This week, pray for Open Doors Canada, which works in over seventy countries, supporting Christians who suffer because of their faith in Jesus.

Ask for change

Call, write or visit your MP. Remember to thank them for their service and let them know you’re praying for them. Find your MP’s contact information. Get great advice in our Engagement Kit.
