Joe is Codirector of Communications and Marketing (with Bill Fledderus). Joel has spoken at several conferences on topics such as pornography, best practices in discipleship, and church and media.

He has previously served the EFC under other titles such as Creative Director and Director of Love Is Moving. He directed the EFC's former Centre for Ministry Partnerships and Innovation from 2021 to May 2026.
