One of our favourite departments in
Faith Today is called Church in Community, and it's all about showcasing the creative ways churches across Canada are serving their communities, no strings attached.
We loved the idea of Eucharist Church in Hamilton, Ont., to open their doors for people to wander in and sit quietly in the sanctuary during the week, with guided prayer prompts if they want them. We spoke to Nina Schuurman-Drenth, the pastoral intern at Eucharist Church, who helped lead the creative team that put together Eucharist's prayer room.
