The Supreme Court of Canada today granted intervener status to a number of organizations in the upcoming appeal cases on the proposed law school at Trinity Western University, tentatively scheduled for Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2017.
The EFC, which has co-intervened with Christian Higher Education Canada in the six lower court and court of appeal cases, will again be able to present joint arguments with CHEC directly before the court.
The EFC is committed to continue supporting TWU as the university completes a multi-year journey to secure accreditation for its proposed law school.
Other groups also intervening to support TWU include the Canadian Council of Christian Charities, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, Christian Legal Fellowship, and the Association for Reformed Political Action.
