EFC policy director interviewed on prostitution, human trafficking

Watch EFC public policy director Julia Beazley's interview on The Perspective on the topic of prostitution. She and host Lorie Hartshorn discuss the EFC's recent intervention at the Supreme Court of Canada, how trafficking intersects with prostitution and why it's so critical to have laws addressing the demand for paid sex. 

Deadline this Friday for government consultation on advance MAiD requests 

The deadline is Feb. 14 for Canadians to participate in the federal government’s consultation on advance requests for medical assistance in dying. The EFC has shared a blog post on this issue called Ten reasons to oppose advance requests for MAiD.
