Bill would reduce sexual exploitation online
The EFC supports Bill C-270, a private member’s bill that would protect Canadians from the impacts of having their intimate images shared online. The EFC will make a submission in support of the legislation to the parliamentary committee analyzing the bill. EFC Ottawa workshops on issues facing the Canadian church
"Faith Matters” workshops are being offered by the EFC to Christians in the Ottawa area and will be held on June 8th at Kanata Baptist Church. Religious freedom lets us engage our neighbours
Religious freedom is not just for our own benefit. We should also use it for the good of our neighbours, says EFC senior ambassador Bruce J. Will your church observe World Refugee Sunday in June?
The World Evangelical Alliance calls on churches to observe World Refugee Sunday on or near to June 20 and participate in prayer and action, responding in practical ways to God’s call to love the stranger as yourself. Using the hashtags #WorldRefugeeSunday and #RefugeeHighway, churches can share about their activities on social media and inspire others to join.
