The book is an inspirational guide for people, businesses and community organizations concerned about poverty but feeling hopeless about their ability to make any meaningful difference. Peters shows us all where to begin. Her own personal story reflects her main proposition: “Poverty ended for my family in one generation because of the intervention of ordinary people who cared.”
