Government consultation on advance requests for MAiD
Canadians are invited from now to Feb. 14 to participate in the federal government’s consultation on advance requests and medical assistance in dying. Read an EFC blog post on this issue called Ten reasons to oppose advance requests for MAiD.
Denied access
In 2023 the Quebec ministry of tourism cancelled a Christian ministry’s contract to rent a Quebec convention centre, deeming the ministry’s pro-life beliefs contrary to “Quebec’s fundamental principles.” EFC Senior Ambassador Bruce J. Francophone prayer summit
