Disability and Belonging in the Church Resource En Français
The EFC is now offering a French translation of a free 56-page booklet that includes articles and discussion questions about disability and belonging in the church. The booklet discusses including people with disabilities in church communities, what ableism is and why it matters, and how we can respond to current shortcomings and injustices. Calling for Post-Retirement Ministry Stories
Do you know someone who stepped back from a job upon reaching retirement age, only to take up a new form of service? Faith Today is seeking people who found new ministry opportunities after the age of 65. We hope to share stories of how God called and equipped mature Christians for new roles in his kingdom, beyond normal retirement age. Email us at editor@faithtoday.ca.

This Week’s Prayer Prompts
This week’s prayer request is about pastors.
Pray for those in pastoral ministry, that they would have wisdom, patience, and continued focus on the Lord as they minister to congregants. Pray that God will raise up gifted pastors to serve churches experiencing pastoral vacancies. Pray for those involved in other forms of ministry who respond to both local and global needs, as they begin to plan what ministry will look during the fall.
You can learn more about Canada’s aging population of pastors on page 57-58 of the Significant Church Report, a research report on small churches conducted by the EFC and its research partners.
This week's EFC affiliate highlight focuses on One Way Ministries. One Way Ministries strives to create both the right atmosphere and the right opportunity to support leaders of organizations committed to serving Jesus Christ and building His Kingdom.
You can always find the week’s prayer prompts at TheEFC.ca/TakeAction.
