Register now for abuse awareness and prevention conference   

While concerns about insurance and liability often drive churches and ministries to implement abuse prevention policies, there are other important considerations when reducing the risk of abuse. Join the Reducing the Risk Conference hosted by the EFC and partners on November 2 in Toronto. Our ministry experts will be providing insightful and interactive training sessions to better equip your ministry and reduce the risk. You can find out more information and register here

This week: EFC Presidents Day, board meetings 

The EFC’s Presidents Day takes place this week in Toronto. Presidents Day is an annual gathering hosted by the EFC board that assembles leaders of denominations, educational institutions and ministry organizations affiliated with the EFC with the purpose of connecting with each other and with the work of the EFC. Prior to Presidents Day, the EFC board will gather for planning for the next year of ministry and service in Canada. 

Tomorrow: Come to Toronto discussion on church future  

You can still sign up for the EFC's evening public discussion Oct. 23 in Toronto on “What will a vibrant Canadian Church look like in ten years?” EFC President David Guretzki, Lee Beach of McMaster Divinity College, and Dorothy Pang of Tyndale Intercultural Ministries Centre will discuss the topic, and attendees can participate in a Q&A session with the speakers afterwards.

English classes serve new Canadians
