Bill to delay MAiD moves to the Senate
The bill to delay MAiD for mental illness until 2027 has passed in the House of Commons. If you asked your MP for a delay, don't forget to circle back to say thank you. The bill must now pass in the Senate. The time for this bill to pass is very short, and there are several pro-MAiD senators. Please pray that the senators will be willing to pass Bill C-62, and delay MAiD for mental illness. Learn more about why the EFC has been asking the government for a delay of MAiD for mental illness.
