The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, Power to Change–Students, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Youth For Christ and Truth Matters have partnered to discover how we can help our teens stay connected to church and faith as they move on from high school.
The new study builds on the 2011 Hemorrhaging Faith study, which found major life transitions were often transitions out of church and faith for Christian young adults. The new 2018 study was initially known as the Young Adult Transition Research (YATR) study, but is more commonly referred to by the title of its first report, Renegotiating Faith: The Delay in Young Adult Identity Formation and What It Means for the Church in Canada .
YATR is a major study for the whole Canadian church, and the research partnership worked cooperatively with Catholics, Mainline Protestants, Orthodox and Evangelicals.
